This piece was created in October 2024, during a humbling chapter of my life. At the time, I was using my e-bike to hustle groceries around the neighborhood. One night, I was riding too fast on the sidewalk, hit the curb, and flew off. Thankfully, I wasn’t seriously hurt, but it shook me emotionally. I got up, shed a few tears, said a prayer, and kept it moving.

Back then, I didn’t have a car. My e-bike was how I got around and made ends meet. When I got home that night, I had just finished “Infinite Miles” and started reflecting on the struggles so many of us face in the hood while trying to honor the gifts planted inside us.

I was raised by my grandparents. We didn’t have much, but we were blessed. They supported me however they could. My grandfather would bring home paper and supplies from work so I could draw. He even encouraged me to become an entrepreneur when I was just 11 years old. As a kid, I went through my share of challenges, but creating art and making beats kept my spirit grounded.

“My Lil Jazzy” is a tribute to that journey—persistence, creativity, and finding rhythm in the chaos.

This original painting includes the artist’s signature on both the front and back. The title and date of completion are also inscribed on the back of the artwork.

Each original painting comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and a personalized, hand-written note from the artist, adding a heartfelt touch to every purchase.
